As a result of the project Sharing Experience: Co-production and Use of a Czech-Norwegian Resource for competence based education to support rural communities, financed from the Czech-Norwegian Research Programme (CZ09) published Charles University Environment Centre publication Sustainable rural entrepreneurship – inspiration. 

New INHERIT Baseline Report investigates links between behaviour, health, environmental and social resilience. The reabout INHERIT Icon web downloadport looks at what can be done to encourage lifestyles, which protect the environment and promote health equity by focusing on the way we live, move, and consume. It is based on a review of scientific literature and framed by the INHERIT model which is presented in the report.

On 27th April 2017, the Regional Center of Expertise Czechia was officially launched and successfully accredited by the United Nations University (UNU). In the Czech Republic, RCE Czechia is the first association of this type, joining the network of Regional Centers of Expertise across the world which today comprises more than 150 such RCE associations.

adaptace na zmenu- klimatu povodne01As part of the project Support of information exchange and education about the impact of climate change and adaptation measures on national and regional level donated by the EEA Grants and Norway Grants a website Adaptation to climate change which should help to raise awareness of general public and preparedness of public administration to implement meaningful adaptation measures in the Czech Republic and Facebook profile have been launched.

SDIssues02In the framework of the project MOSUR and TAČR projects “Analysis and support for participatory decision-making processes aimed at regional sustainable development strategies through the use of actor analysis methodology” (2014‑2015); and “Use of regional sustainable development case studies in higher education and for the creation of Open Educational Resources” has our Center published the book "Exploring regional sustainable development issues. Using the case study approach in higher education". Book was edited by Andrew Barton and Jana Dlouhá. It brings together a total of seven regional sustainable development case studies that have been used as teaching materials for e-learning courses at the Charles University Environment Center in Prague, Czech Republic, and which form a part of its open education resources.
