The conference seeks to address the interface between technologies and policies in the ongoing fight to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change. The first part of the conference will present selected innovative climate change-related technologies and measures. In the second part selected comprehensive scenarios of how to cut emissions and achieve a low-carbon energy system will be presented. What are the possibilities, potential, risks and limitations of the different available climate-related technologies? How can they be mobilised into comprehensive policies to combat climate change? The Conference aims to provide input to and stimulate the discussion on these subjects – in the NGO sector, and also in the research community, industry, government bodies and other interested parties.
